You can get the Live Viewer version compatible with Windows 8 from its official website. The specific version you need to acquire is 6.30, the one published on the page. Access the website and scroll down just a little until you will see Hitachi LiveViewer Software v6.30. Additionally use the direct download to save the package to your computer.
I have a HITACHI CP-X253WN projector connected to a LAN network. From my laptop I connect using a wireless connection to the projector. When I'm broadcasting my desktop through the projector, the broadcasting lasts circa 10-30 minutes and then it stops. What can I do?

In order to fix the problem, navigate to Start > Control Panel > Appearance > Display > Change screen saver and select None from the Screen Saver drop-down list. After that, navigate to Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options > Edit Plan Settings and select Never from both displayed drop-down lists:
If the issue persists, download the latest version of LiveViewer application and configure the projector again using the instructions from the user guide that came with the device. Alternatively, contact the support team and ask for instructions.
